Tooth Torture

I got a wisdom tooth removed yesterday. I lay in that dental chair yesterday morning, while one Dr. Smith, who seemed cool and educated in matters of teeth, brought out a slew of tools, all of which looked like stolen instruments of torture from some midevil chaimber of doom.

Now, 24 hours later, I feel like I got punched in the face with a screwdriver of evil. I don't recomend it.

Amy

And more hot red-heads. I saw Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian which was really good, but that is not what this is about. I love Amy Adams. She is so beautiful and talented and I'd probably see any movie she's in because I love her so.

Having said that, you should check out the movie. It's surprisingly funny. Hank Azeria plays a lisping pharoah. There's Lincoln monument, the thinker, Ivan the Terrible, and all the characters from the first movie. It's kinda epic. But yeah, you should check it out.

Jessica Rabbit

I have a crush. Her name is Natalie Reid and she is a crazy awesome dancer who is going to dominate this season of So You Think You Can Dance? I've always had a thing for redheads.

Check out her audition

WATCH!

There is a new show called Glee. It is freakin' amazing and if you don't watch it I believe our friendship is over. I'm serious.

I'll make it easier for you. Here, you have no excuses anymore.

Listen

There are a few things I need to get off my chest. I need to say these things to anonymous people.

I. I'm glad we talked the other day. It felt like we were really friends instead of the non-friends we are. It was a nice. I don't expect it to happen again.

II. If you EVER speak to my mother ever again, I promise you will regret it!

III. I'm sorry for everything that's going on right now. This is a big ole suck-train and you got thrown aboard.

IV. Seriously, you need to learn to shut your mouth. You are casusing so much pain and ruining lives and why? Are you really that starved for attention or are you just evil?

And so concludes my multi-anonymous-ventilation.

Motherlover

You guys, I almost peed when I saw this. Yeah, course it's inappropriate. It's a freaking follow-up to "Dick in a box". My point is, it's funny. You can't deny. Enjoy!

Finally Finales

We are amidst, what I call, "Finale Week". It is the week that all my shows produce their big, grand ends to either crappy or fruitful seasons. This period makes me a little sad. Back when I was a young-ling, the event usually corresponded with the end of the school-year, which always made me feel old.

Anywho, here are the finales I am watching.

House- A few days ago. It was pretty shocking.

Yesterday- LOST, I watched the first five minutes alone and my brain about exploded.

Tonight- Parks and Recreation, The Office, 30 Rock, and Grey's Anatomy. The most finale-ness in the schedule.

Sunday- Family Guy

Monday- Gossip Girl (don't judge), 24, and How I Met Your Mother. Another intense night of televison.

So I am getting through these big nights before I even think about summer. However, there is a bright spot to the three month hiatus. An awesome ditty called So You Think You Can Dance? resurfaces on May 21.

Ok, ok. So maybe summer isn't THAT bad.

See Star Trek and Prosper

J.J. Abrams (director, Mission Impossible III, Lost) could get me to love anything. He has made the re-vamp of Star Trek and it totally kicks Romulan ass.

I've boiled it down to this: It let's you be smart. You don't have to know the history of the Federation of Planets or how to speak Vulcan to understand whats going on. It lets you figure it out and it's ok. Great even. A-

All I Want is You

There is this amazing band called The Rescues. They make great music, some of which can be found in the playlist on the right.

Anyway, they just released a new single on iTunes called "Stay Over". The lyrics are so great. I tried to put the song in my playlist but I couldn't find it. Go play the 30 sec. preview on iTunes if you aren't convinced by the below lyrics. I promise it's worth the dollar to buy it!

August air, was a dare, put my shaking hand on your nape
Pass the time, showed you my hand-me-down fake I.D.
You laughed out loud
Can't believe you snuck out

All I want is you (you, you)
All I want is you (you, you)
All I want is you to stay over

Bittersweet, kissing we, smoking that just to be cool
Your big sister's miniskirt and heels in a pile by the swimming pool
Midnight, all our skin
Oh, we dive right in

All I want is you (you, you)
All I want is you (you, you)
All I want is you to stay over

Stay over
Stay
Stay
Come on
Stay
Stay
Seriously

We laugh out loud
I can't believe you snuck out for me

HEY!

All I want is you (you, you)
All I want is you, yeah (you, you)
All I want is you (you, you)
Oh, all I want is you to stay over

Stay over
Stay over
Stay over
Stay over

The wait its over...

The wait is over.

The call has come.

The lack of this gift has caused, not only undue stress, but countless hours flipping through the shift give-away book which leads to nasty places Boat Dock and Dinoland (basically anywhere at Animal Kingdom) and loads of Contemp Dinner. But this is unnerving stress wilst soon be behind me.

When the call came, I almost couldn't believe it. I mean, I've been waiting for 9 months. The gestation period of a human child. The waiting is as old as a pregnancy. I didn't really shout it from the rooftops when I found out; I was scared it would somehow get taken away. But it's for real.

May 17th- Red becomes Yellow (for those of you who don't speak Disney, I got FULL TIME)

Gimp

I irritated a nerve in the ball of my foot. It's swollen and hurts like hell. I won't tip toe around it. CANNONBALL! Anyway, it's causing me to move about in a Gregory House-esque fashion. It's pretty pathetic. Limpin' along. But, ya know, I have a cane back in Utah (don't ask why) and it would really come in handy since I've become gimptastic and all. But again, it's back in Utah and it's doing me no good there!

In other news, my hair is gone!

Hellloooo Ann-Margret!

I freaking LOVE this movie. It's a movie from my childhood that I haven't seen in years. The other day I got the melodies stuck in my head and I knew I had to find a copy of it. So after a few days of searching I found it at Best Buy. It's so good.

And it could be just me, but, after watching it, I'm thinking Ann-Margret (who plays Kim MacAfee, a girl chosen to recieve a kiss on the Ed Sullivan show by Conrad Birdie, an Army-bound Elvis look alike) is really sexy in the movie. There's a scene where she puts on a sweater over her dress then takes off the dress from under the sweater. uh...HOT!

Anyway, here is the the big dance number from the show, "Lot of Livin' to Do". Enjoy as I have.

Half Empty, Half Full

A few days ago, a tragedy occured. My Lorelai, my love, my soul, my iPod, passed on. It took me by surprise. She showed no signs of ill health whatsoever. Also, all the music I have collected, the videos, the movies I made from high school, everything. Gone. Dead and gone.

Needless to say, I've been grief-stricken. But there has been I white light. I met someone. Her name is Zooey and below is a pic of her. She is beautiful and wise and cares alot about me. This might be too soon, but I think she's gonna be around for quite a while.

Who's way is this?

I'm sure all of you have seen the new Burger King commercial. You know, the one where 'the King' raps about "square butts" in hopes of promoting a new special combo for children that comes with a Spongebob Squarepants toy.

I thought about putting up the video, but I would not want to risk subjecting innocent eyes to the horror that is this tv spot. As you can see from the provided image, the girls in the ad have "square butts". This is not only an insult to a great song (it's a parody of "Baby Got Back"), these poor girls have phonebooks strapped to their behinds. How degrating! Covering what God gave them with a cardboard box.

I vote this commercial off the air! You hear that BK? YOUR way sucks!
