The Moistmaker

I know the title is dirty, but let's move passed it and continue.

I am thankful for Thanksgiving leftovers.

Yeah, I get it. Thanksgiving hasn't come yet, but I won't get to do it "correctly" so my mom decided to make Thanksgiving dinner last night. It was a traditional schmogasboard. Turkey, potatoes, rolls, veggies etc. While it was quite tasty the 1st time around, I highly enjoy the leftovers as well. They frequently last you a while and are deliciossa.

Primarily, I love the turkey. The meat from an actual turkey is sooooo different from the processed slices you but at the store. There's almost a magical quality to Thanksgiving turkey. It makes for an amazing sandwich. Seriously, try it in a few weeks. I'm not the first person to come to this realization. Here's some evidence.

See how passionate Ross is about it. It's gotta be good then right? Of course right! It brought me much delight when I couldn't sleep this morning. Give it a shot.

Ring of Fire

Let's just talk for a second about how I am a moron.

So I snuck some (insert fast food brand here) into a movie earlier. I got some nuggets, fries and a burger. When I got to designated theater for a 9:25 showing of Gran Torino, which I was ten minutes late to, I was a little surprised to see the theater was fairly full. I din think the latest Clint Eastwood flick would be as full as Bride Wars, but hello, dunce cap.

Anyway, I figured I couldn't really scarf my "sneaky" dinner while the room was packed, and even while the couples on either side of me sucked face(Apparently, Clint's low enthnic-slurring grunts really set the mood. Who knew?). So I patiently waited till got home to chow down.

I toss my to-go bag in the microwave, and, five seconds later, surprise surprise, the contents of said bag are aflame. Slowly turning as the microwave miraculously continues to function, is my favorite lil' red head burning alive. I managed to extinguish the mangled remains, but there was nothing to be saved. SO I chuck it and come do a "Brave, Unbalanced Madlib" (thanks julie :)) while the smoke stings my eyes.

So what did you do tonight?

Foodgasm

My message today is simple.

PANERA is amazing. If you haven't dined there before, you need too. Everything (and by that I mean, the limited selections from the menu is have had the privelege to taste) is...AWESOME. Go and eat there. NOW.

For Your Consideration: Cheesecake Factory

So listen up. I am no longer a Cheesecake Factory virgin. We went last night for Miranda's belated birthday party and it was goooood. It's a little out of my price range for freaquent visitation but tasty none the less. I got a "small" chicken ceasar salad that was the size of my baby cousin and the Ha-mazing Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cheesecake. It probably added half a pound on but it was worth it.

For Your Consideration

I have a double dose of things to consider.

Delicious and nostalgic.
